In Love KY Downs

Bonne Chance Farm and Stud RDI's  Agnes Gold (JPN) gelding, In Love (BRZ), captured his first North American blacktype when he threw down a dominate performance today to take the TVG2 Stakes at Kentucky Downs under a beautiful ride by Alex Achard who notched his first victory at the track! In Love was G2 placed in 2019 at Palermo in Argentina before being imported to the US. Since then he's won an Allowance at Keeneland in October of 2020 and most recently an AOC at Arlington Park on July 25th, 2021. In Love also recorded the fastest E Fig of the day running a 113!

Rapid Achiever

Rising superstar Coolmore stallion, Wootton Bassett had his first winner in Australia when Rapid Achiever ('18 F Wootton Bassett - Diavola) won on debut August 2nd for Ciaron Maher Racing at Donald race track. She followed up that win on August 18th with a second win in a brave performance at Ladbrokes Park Hillside, making her 2 for 2.

Ivar G1 Shadwell Turf Mile

Bonne Chance Farm, LLC and Stud RDI, LLC's 2yo Argentine Champ and multiple G1 winner IVAR (BRZ) added his third G1 win October 3rd when he took the G1 Shadwell Turf Mile at Keeneland in impressive fashion. The son of Agnes Gold (JPN) sat off the pace and closed like a rocket for a final time of 1:33.99, punching his ticket to the November 7th FanDuel Mile Presented by PDJF. In reality, Ivar (BRZ) born October 4th, 2016 was a true 3 year old , winning the race just one day before his true 4th birthday.

2020 Sales Booklet Cover

As we kick off the 2020 yearling sales, Bonne Chance has released a digital booklet highlighting their 8 sale yearlings. Two yearlings will be sold at the inaugural Fasig-Tipton Yearling Showcase which takes the place of the cancelled 2020 Saratoga Sale due to covid19 concerns and six will be sold at Keeneland during their traditional September Yearling sale. These yearlings represent some of Bonne Chance's most promising young mares as well as mares who have become proven producers.

Ivar Pellegrini Award
It came as no surprise to anyone who followed Ivar (BRZ) throughout his 2yo campaign last year, that he would be named 2YO Champion Colt at the Pellegrini awards on August 12. With the results now official, the impressive dark bay colt out of May Be Now (Smart Strike) by Brazilian based stallion, Agnes Gold (JPN) (Sunday Silence) becomes the first non-Argentine bred colt to win that honor. Trained by Daniel Etchetchoury and ridden by Jose Da Silva and Adrian Gianneti throughout his time in Argentina, Ivar (BRZ) was an undefeated 2yo taking both the Gran Criterium (G1-Turf) and the Estrellas Juvenile (G1-Dirt) in unmatched fashion. Ivar (BRZ) is also the first non-Argentine winner of the G1 Estrellas Juvenile.
New York Groove Glorious Song S

Bonne Chance bred NEW YORK GROOVE has won her second stakes win to remain undefeated when she crossed the wire in front in the Glorious Song Stakes at Woodbine on November 3rd. The daughter of Verrazano stalked just off the pace before easily drawing clear under the guidance of Pablo Morales. This marks her second stakes win of the year, the first coming last month when she won the Presque Isle Debutante Stakes in similar fashion. New York Groove is owned by Commonwealth New Era Racing and is trained by Mike Trombetta.

Cambier Parc QEII

OXO Equine's Cambier Parc picked up her second G1 victory when she wired the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland this past weekend under the hand of John Velazquez. The impressive Chad Brown trained daughter of Medaglia d"Oro, out of Canadian Horse of the Year, Sealy Hill, was unphased by early pressure from The Queen's Magnetic Charm (GB) and was able to easily hold off a late effort from Godolphin's Castle Lady (IRE). This marks her second G1 victory after Cambier Parc took the G1 Del Mar Oaks with an impressive late kick back in August.

Iva Cincinnati Trophy Stakes

With just their first crop as breeder, Bonne Chance has picked up their first black type winner in the gusty Scatt Daddy filly, IVA. Racing for her breeder Bonne Chance Farm, the Wesley Ward trained Iva won the Cincinnati Trophy Stakes at Turfway Park on 2/1/19!  The bay filly chased the pace early before shifting into the four path in the turn and rallying down the lane to overcome Workaholic in the stretch! Iva is the first foal from stakes winner and G3 placed Sushi Empire (Empire Maker).

Cambier Parc winning the 7th at Gulfstream Park on 1/2/19

It was an exciting start to 2019 today when Bonne Chance Bred, Cambier Parc cruised home to win the 7th at Gulfstream Park breaking her maiden at second asking in impressive fashion! An OXO Equine LLC purchase at the 2017 Keeneland September Yearling sale, Cambier Parc was our first homebred millionaire in the sale ring. Out of super mare SEALY HILL, Cambier Parc was always a standout at the farm.  As always we wish Larry Best's OXO Equine LLC all the best of luck with her and offer a big congratulations to trainer Chad Brown and jockey Jose Ortiz.
