Rising superstar Coolmore stallion, Wootton Bassett had his first winner in Australia when Rapid Achiever (’18 F Wootton Bassett – Diavola) won on debut August 2nd for Ciaron Maher Racing at Donald race track. She followed up that win on August 18th with a second win in a brave performance at Ladbrokes Park Hillside, making her 2 for 2.
This Bonne Chance bred filly was born in France and was purchased by John Foote Bloodstock from the 2019 Arquana October Yearling Sale for $144,942. The dam, Diavola (GB), was imported that same year in-foal to top sire, Lope de Vega. She produced a colt by that mating who will be offered at the 2021 Keeneland September Sale next month.
